The largest neutral colocation service provider in Eastern Canada, COLO-D, recently announced it has joined forces with enterprise software and interconnection leader Console. COLO-D has entered into the Console Data Center Partner Program, and will now offer certain customers direct access to the Console platform—a groundbreaking solution that is streamlining the way that businesses connect to partners like Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud services and Amazon Web Services, as well as customers and vendors.
Moving forward, Console—which offers global network-to-network and enterprise-to-enterprise collaboration—will be available at two COLO-D locations: COLO-D1 in Drummondville, Quebec, and COLO-D2 in Longueuil, Quebec.
Using the Console platform, global companies can quickly, easily and securely connect to business-critical cloud providers, partners and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers without having to use the public Internet. It’s a faster, more secure approach to connectivity.
With the addition of the Console platform, COLO-D is now looking to attract government agencies, large IT organizations and financial institutions, as well as gaming companies and cloud customers that are looking to increase their foothold in the Eastern North American market.
According to President and CEO of COLO-D Patrick David, the addition of Console should be welcome news to COLO-D customers, as the partnership strengthens its reputation as a world-class neutral colocation provider.
“With the addition of the Console platform, our customers have an excellent platform with which they can access a global network of cloud and SaaS providers, increasing performance while controlling costs,” he said.
