Harbor Link is expanding its underground fiber network into CoreSite’s DC2 data center, extending connectivity across the company’s Washington, D.C. campus and Northern Virginia facilities. The deployment will provide additional carrier diversity across DC2, DC1, VA1, VA2, and VA3, enhancing one of the country’s most interconnected data center ecosystems.

Purpose-built underground infrastructure has become increasingly valuable in dense metropolitan markets where adding new network routes can be challenging. By creating additional physical pathways beneath rivers, highways, and other major crossings, providers can improve network resiliency while giving customers more options for connecting critical workloads.
