The former Facebook executive will lead development and location strategy for STACK with a focus on product development, site selection, and strategic partnerships.
Mr. VanderZanden joins STACK’s team of proven data center and technology industry experts, bringing with him deep roots and insights as a former hyperscale data center executive. He spent most of the last decade expanding Facebook’s worldwide data center footprint, leveraging his experience as a real estate attorney at Paul Hastings, the position he held just prior to joining Facebook, to foster his dynamic approach to geolocal data center development.
As Director of Data Center Site Selection, Mr. VanderZanden built Facebook’s global data center location strategy program plying his legal and data center expertise to navigate the intricacies and interrelationships of data center and critical infrastructure development, government relations, incentives, and location strategy.
