International Telecoms Week (ITW) 2020, the annual meeting for the global wholesale telecommunications community, remains committed to #KeepingTheWorldConnected, recently announcing its first-ever virtual event, taking place from 15-18 June, 2020. Welcoming industry leaders and executives — including those from host sponsors AT&T, T-Mobile, PCCW Global and Telefonica — for networking, meetings and speaking sessions, this event facilitates vital conversation about shifting trends amid global current events and how they will change networks, connectivity and more. Produced by Capacity Media, this event delivers a virtual platform for the industry to exchange business ideas, share opportunities, expand the reach of global networks and foster collaborative relationships.

“We are excited to offer this vital opportunity to the telecommunications sector in order to help them overcome any business disruption that this global pandemic has caused,” comments Ross Webster, ITW Event Director. “Discussion, collaboration and community have never been more important than they are now as communications and technology become a focal point in the effort to build a more enabled and secure future. This goal of bringing news, ideas and people together will be supported by the ITW Press Room, which will facilitate productive dialogue between the wholesale telecommunications sphere, the carrier community and the media. We look forward to being a catalyst for the many important networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities that are especially important across this ecosystem today.”

The ITW 2020 agenda offers four days of presentations, trivia quizzes and discussions, beginning with a keynote address on 15 June at 3:00-3:30 BST. This will be followed by a discussion about COVID-19, examining life after the pandemic and how it will impact the connectivity landscape of tomorrow. The event will deliver presentations across a range of topics, including Future: Applied, Connectivity Around the World and Keeping the Community Together. Attendees can expect to learn more about growth in sustainability, consolidating legacy and cutting-edge network architectures, building the need for 5G, digital security, women in technology and more.
