Data Center POST had the chance to connect with Ron Carmanico, CEO of Manic Enterprises.

The combination of Ron’s 25 years of experience in the telecom industry with his diverse background in sales leadership, operations, and engineering, has positioned him to provide a deep understanding of solving today’s complex network and IT infrastructure issues. Learn how Ron’s consultative approach influences the lenses with which he views the hot topics ahead of the PTC’24.

Data Center Post (DCP) Question: PTC’s Annual Conference is a strategic springboard for the global communications industry, and this year is no different. How is your business addressing AI needs, keeping in mind the upcoming rules and risks associated with AI?

Ron Carmanico (RC) Answer: Manic Enterprises has recently merged with another top consulting company, Win Win Advisors, to now offer premier, global executive business development and strategic consulting services. With an in-house team of executive resources, we can now provide strategic direction and execution for all of your local or global artificial intelligence (AI) projects including regulatory requirements.

DCP Q: At PTC’24 there will be a few sessions focusing on the status and opportunities in the telecom market. From telecom equipment, services, and wireless communication, which area of the industry does your company focus on, and where do you see the industry heading in the next 5-10 years?

RC A: The background of both Manic and Win Win Executives comes from a deep legacy in telecom. Personally, I have 29 years in telecom from MCI to Verizon to Global Telecom and Technology (GTT) and DBR360. I have been involved in the procurement and deployment of large global networks including building a private 10gig media network for Deluxe Entertainment Group that spanned five continents. I see the technology moving rapidly towards wireless infrastructures but terrestrial and undersea networks will always be part of the solution. Collaboration with data centers will also be a key in building new customer-driven networks that will support a company’s entire IT needs.

DCP Q: At PTC’24, on January 23, 2024, the Infrastructure Builders panel will discuss how the world will look in 2033 (10 years), when we are one-third of the way through the digital century. How are you approaching projects and planning for future growth with the shifting utilization of digital infrastructure?

RC A: Manic/Win Win provides senior consulting services to enable our customers to successfully navigate these exact questions in an ever-changing world. We as a company adapt to these changes by growing our knowledge base of partners to include executives who understand technology at a higher level.

DCP Q: What core markets do you operate in and what are the key opportunities / challenges in these markets and how are you adapting to address them?

RC A: We offer services globally, and the key opportunities that we see today are in driving revenue. We provide a Virtual CRO service, that can include everything from email campaigns to staffing a complete sales organization management, virtually! The results have driven our team from 3 to over 20 in the past 18 months. The challenges we see are consistent pretty much everywhere: return on investment (ROI) – we need help but we don’t have a big budget to hire salespeople. We help solve that issue with tailored programs that fit everyone’s budget, with guaranteed results.

DCP Q: PTC’24 is the 46th annual PTC Conference. During this four-day event, how can people meet or learn more about you (or after PTC’24 )?

RC A: I will have a table at the Tapa Bar on Monday and Tuesday, January 22-23, 2024. I am always available to connect via email (rcarmanico@manicenterprises.com) and through our website.

DCP Q: What else would you like for our readers to know that you haven’t already shared about your company?

RC A: Just the excitement about the merger with WinWin Advisors and Charlie Fields, their CEO. Our team is first class in everything from CFO, CRO, CIO, we have the people who can help.
