Wrapping up a successful year of global events, spanning Frankfurt, Istanbul and Madrid, DE-CIX hosted its New York Summit at 780 Third Avenue in Manhattan on December 5, 2017. The summit, titled “Journey Into an Interconnected Digital World,” featured the telecom industry’s top visionaries and business leaders, providing a platform for attendees to learn about and discuss the future of interconnection and digitization.

Moderated by Ilissa Miller, Founder and CEO, iMiller Public Relations, the summit’s agenda featured presentations and panel sessions with industry thought leaders and executives from various organizations, including IDC, Pixomondo and Fieldfisher. Alongside DE-CIX’s Chief Strategic and Corporate Development Officer, Ivo A. Ivanov, and Vice President, Ed d’Agostino, presenters discussed today’s top trends including Big Data and mixed reality, as well as the challenges surrounding data security and interconnection platforms.
