With recent moves expanding the executive team, Bulk Infrastructure is taking important strides in the race to bring sustainable infrastructure to a global audience. In June, the company announced Inger Gløersen Folkeson in a dual role, serving as COO for Bulk Infrastructure Group and Executive Vice President of Fiber Networks. She will join Gisle M. Eckhoff, announced in April as Executive Vice President, Bulk Data Centers.

Bulk Infrastructure is the Nordics’ leading provider of ultra-scalable, highly connected, sustainable data centers and fiber networks. These strategic moves will strengthen the execution of Bulk’s growth aspirations through an organic and inorganic Nordic expansion strategy, as well as developing and extending sustainable business models in the digital infrastructure and industrial real estate space.

Sustainability and carbon footprint reduction are major drivers of digital infrastructure investment and growth. Bulk is leading the rise to prominence of the Nordics as a destination market for global growth in data centers, fiber networks and infrastructure powered by abundant renewable energy. Data-centric industries and enterprises are actively seeking secure and reliable growth that is both affordable and achieves sustainability goals. That is a tall order and Bulk and the Nordics are a must-have combination on any digital executive’s short list.

Inger and Gisle will play instrumental roles in delivering on  Bulk’s mission to transform the industry, the Nordics and reduce the impact on our planet.
