In working together, these two organizations enable one another to meet the demands associated with growing traffic generated by 4G data roaming, mobile signaling and Voice-over-IP (VoIP) solutions, as well as advanced IP services including Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE), HD video calling, media content delivery and OTT services. HGC has previously partnered with CTG for voice and mobile; however, this new agreement will enable the exploration of new business opportunities.
The China Telecom Global IPX platform offers customers a tailor-made, integrated solution for the delivery of multiple IP communications services. Utilizing a secure, next-generation, private IP network designed to meet growing connectivity demands, their IPX platform is built on China Telecom’s leading MPLS network, providing secure connection to 312 cities in mainland China as well as nearly 130 additional countries.
The Hutch-IPX platform provides comprehensive IPX solutions that enable multiple operators to securely exchange IP traffic without having to traverse the Internet. This platform facilitates comprehensive IP interconnect services including 2G, 3G and 4G data roaming, as well as mobile signaling, VoIP and high definition voice and video traffic.
