Data Center POST recently spoke with Lenny Chesal, Host.net’s Chief Evangelist, about what the company would like to accomplish at the upcoming International Telecoms Week (ITW), the world’s largest meeting for the global wholesale telecommunications community. ITW 2016 will take place at the Hyatt Regency and Swissotel in Chicago, IL from May 8-11, 2016. In our Q&A with Mr. Chesal, we discussed new developments in progress for Host.net and how the company differentiates itself within the cloud computing industry. Host.net provides managed infrastructure services, such as colocation, cloud computing and storage, network transport and transit, as well as disaster recovery back-up and support. The company has expertise in all sectors, including education, finance, government and healthcare, and also works with wholesale and carrier clients.

Data Center POST, Kathy Xu (DCP-KX) Question: What new developments can you tell our readers about Host.net?
Host.net, Lenny Chesal (Host.net-LC) Answer: We are currently in the process of launching a new website and continuing to attract high profile customers, (announcements to come), that are migrating to our fully redundant Smart Cloud architecture, along with, leveraging our secure SOC2, PCI/DSS, Visa, and HIPAA compliant data centers and high capacity network. As Host.net grows we look forward to working with clients in most major metropolitan regions of North America as well as portions of Latin America.
DCP-KX Q: With cloud computing booming, what are your company’s key differentiators?
Host.net-LC A: Our solution architects and experienced engineers collaborate with clients, to configure the right cloud solutions. Every business is different and we really work closely with our customers to ensure they have the most optimal blend of services to meet their IT requirements. DCP-KX Q: What is on the horizon for Host.net?
Host.net-LC A: New partners, enhanced and additional services, as well as expansion into Latin America through partnership with CLAdirect.
DCP-KX Q: What do you hope to accomplish at ITW 2016?
Host.net-LC A: ITW is a very comprehensive event that allows companies to meet not only with some of their clients and partners, but also a great way to network with new and prospective customers, along with opportunities to talk to various analysts and media community. We are excited to share ideas, meet new people and continue to get the Host.net name out.
DCP-KX Q: Is there anything else you would like to share?
