Infomart Data Centers President, John Sheputis, to Join Executive Panel During The Fifth Annual Northern California Data Center Summit in San Francisco
Infomart Data Centers, a national wholesale data center provider, announces today that its President, John Sheputis, will participate in an executive panel during The Fifth Annual Northern California Data Center Summit, taking place at the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco, California, February 25, 2016. The two-day summit will bring together more than 400 leading data center real estate and technology infrastructure executives as well as over 40 speakers who will offer comprehensive market analyses of the opportunities and challenges in the Western U.S. markets.
At 9:45 AM, Mr. Sheputis will join fellow data center C-suite members on the panel, “Northern California Data Center Real Estate 360: How Are Developers Strategizing New and Innovative Models to Compete with Growth of the Cloud in 2016?” During this discussion, panelists will explore the supply-demand in San Francisco, San Jose and Silicon Valley submarkets, the impact of Edge investment and growing end-user sophistication, as well as their investment in underlying infrastructure versus network. Panelists will also address the impact of Asia on the West Coast data center marketplace, major changes in retail colocation, consolidation and compliance, construction costs, and more.
“The cloud will continue to proliferate in 2016 and beyond, accounting for the majority of all data center traffic by 2019,” remarks Mr. Sheputis. “While its growth presents data center operators with many opportunities, it also presents its fair share of challenges. In order to remain competitive, forward-thinking data center providers must adapt their models and be able to meet the connectivity, relatively low-cost power and high-density demands of cloud customers.”
