As demand for digital infrastructure continues to grow, Sabey Data Center Properties (SDCP) is building on its long-term strategy with an expanded investment from Ares Secondaries funds.

The additional commitment follows Ares’ minority equity investment in SDCP announced in July 2026 and brings its total investment in the platform to more than $500 million. The follow-on investment further strengthens the relationship among Sabey Corporation, National Real Estate Advisors and Ares, bringing together three long-term partners focused on supporting SDCP’s continued growth.

SDCP currently owns and operates hyperscale and enterprise data center campuses in top-tier U.S. data center markets totaling 275 megawatts (MW). Looking ahead, the company’s expansion pipeline is expected to reach approximately 737 MW by 2033, positioning the platform to support the next generation of cloud and artificial intelligence demand.

“This follow-on investment reflects continued conviction in SDCP’s long-term value proposition and growth trajectory,” said Kevin Verdi, Executive Vice President & Chief Investment Officer at National Real Estate Advisors. “We remain focused on disciplined growth and delivering the digital infrastructure needed to support the next generation of cloud and AI demand.”

For SDCP, the expanded investment reinforces confidence in a platform built around developing and operating mission-critical infrastructure for customers across the United States.

“We are pleased to deepen our relationship with Ares as we continue executing on our long-term growth strategy,” said Tim Mirick, President of Sabey Data Center Properties. “This additional commitment reflects confidence in the strength of our platform and our ability to develop and operate the mission-critical infrastructure our customers rely on.”

The investment also reflects Ares’ continued confidence in SDCP’s growth potential.

“We are pleased to expand our investment in SDCP and build on our relationship with the Sabey and National teams as we continue to see significant runway for growth,” said Jamie Sunday, Co-Head of Real Estate Secondaries at Ares.

With a portfolio of more than four million square feet of mission-critical space, SDCP is one of the largest privately owned multi-tenant data center owners, developers and operators in the United States. As the digital economy continues to evolve, the expanded Ares investment provides additional support for SDCP’s long-term growth and its ability to serve customers with scalable, mission-critical data center infrastructure.
