Prior to founding Infinitum, Ben spent the previous 15 years leading the design and deployment of complex industrial automation equipment across Taiwan, Japan and the United States. What are your company’s key differentiators?
Traditional variable frequency drives (VFDs) are essential for improving motor efficiency, but they produce harmonics that can degrade electrical performance, reduce usable power and threaten uptime. As power demands from AI and electrification rise, harmonics can have significant operational and financial consequences in demanding environments where energy efficiency, uptime and electrical performance are critical.
Aircore EC+ enables customers to do more with less by maximizing available power, electrical performance and equipment life while reducing energy use, footprint and system complexity.
Infinitum’s Aircore EC+ is uniquely designed with integrated Active Front End technology within the motor’s VFD to reduce harmonics at the source and below IEEE 519 specifications, delivering cleaner power without the added cost, footprint, and power losses of conventional passive and active filters. Analysts have commented:

- Standard IP65 Enclosure: Heavy-duty exterior protects against dust, dirt and water, allowing motors to operate reliably in harsh outdoor or wet environments.
- Standard High Resistance Ground: Delivers normal operation during an electrical ground fault and reduces the chance of equipment failure. Power-loss ride-through capability enables systems to continue operating during standby power.
- Standard Hybrid Ceramic Bearings: As compared to standard bearings, hybrid ceramic bearings do not conduct electricity and resist corrosion, enhancing durability, reliability and efficiency in high-performance applications.
