Duos Edge AI, Inc is expanding its partnership with FiberLight to accelerate the deployment of modular Edge Data Centers for underserved and high-growth markets across the United States. The alliance builds on successful work in Texas, where rapid, reliable infrastructure is helping bridge the digital divide for communities needing high-performance resources for education, healthcare, enterprise, and AI-driven applications.

With FiberLight providing an expansive fiber network, including 75 route miles of infrastructure in Corpus Christi and connections to more than 13,000 route miles throughout Texas, the joint approach ensures next-generation access for both urban and rural areas.

This collaboration was recently demonstrated in Corpus Christi, where FiberLight’s need to quickly reestablish its primary point-of-presence was met by Duos Edge AI with an efficient, cost-effective Edge Data Center deployment. Working together with city officials, the property owner, and AEP, the teams installed a new EDC just 30 feet from existing infrastructure. The expedited process cut out more than 2,000 feet of new construction, saving costs and minimizing downtime for local customers.

“Expanding our partnership with FiberLight is a significant step forward in our mission to deliver next-generation digital infrastructure in underserved communities. Their extensive fiber network, combined with our rapidly deployable, modular edge data centers, allows us to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions where they’re needed most, faster than ever before,” said Doug Recker, President and Founder of Duos Edge AI.

“The Corpus Christi project shows how Duos Edge AI brings more than just edge data center capabilities. They add real value for our customers by helping us deliver innovative infrastructure solutions quickly and efficiently. Together, we’re expanding our reach, enhancing service delivery, and driving the next wave of innovation and economic development,” said Tyler Coates, Chief Revenue Officer at FiberLight.

Duos Edge AI is on pace to contract 15 EDCs by the end of 2025, with active deployments in Texas and expansion planned for the Midwest and Southeast. The strengthened alliance enables joint planning and rapid, turnkey deployment of high-powered Edge Data Centers exactly where infrastructure is most needed. Each EDC is designed to achieve more than 100 kW per cabinet, deliver continuous 24/7 data services, and be operational within 90 days, positioned within 12 miles of end users or devices to enable real-time digital applications without major capital investment requirements.
