Chayora Limited, an international infrastructure investor, developer and operator of hyperscale data centre campuses in China, recently announced the opening of new offices in Beijing, as part of its continued its expansion into the Chinese market. The announcement came this week while Oliver Jones, the company CEO, was attending International Telecoms Week in Atlanta, GA.
The new offices, located in Beijing’s CBD in Chaoyang District are strategically close to key government sites, and will be led by Chayora’s Executive Director China, Steven Cao. Chaoyang district is a core business hub of Beijing (expand) and close to many diplomatic missions and central to financial, corporate business and technology operations. The area is also a booming market for startups.
The purpose of the new office is to support Chayora’s existing government relations and to act as a hub for wider expansion across China. As a world-class infrastructure developer with a primary focus on building Data Centre platforms in China, the central proximity provided by Beijing offices will provide Chayora closer access to other areas throughout China. This is a significant step in enabling international online companies to more effectively access the vast and rapidly developing Chinese market.
“Chayora has developed extensive expertise in doing good business in China, and maintaining excellent insight into policy, regulations and plans of government is paramount,” says Oliver Jones, Co-Founder and CEO, Chayora. “Our new Beijing office gives us the base to expand within China and joins our network of other locations in the key areas where we are already operating.”
The company currently offers two data center facilities: one in Tianjin and one in Shanghai. The new office location serves as an expansion alongside the company headquarters in Hong Kong, and its data centres in Tianjin and Shanghai. Chayora develops hyperscale, world-class designed and operated, scalable data centres and data centre campuses in China. Chayora serves global Fortune 500 companies and premium Chinese data centre operators offering cloud services, ICT services, financial services or other services offerings dependent on intensive, high quality data centre infrastructure in China.
