The World Journal’s Silicon Valley Tech Summer Camp returns from July 13 to July 27, offering students another chance to step into the center of innovation. Organized by the World Journal San Francisco and supported by leading industry partners, the camp continues to earn high praise for its immersive approach to exploring the technologies shaping our future.
This year marks the return of a key partnership with the Nomad Futurist Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to making datal infrastructure education accessible and inspiring the next generation of technologists. With its unique platform, Nomad Futurist brings deep industry access and real-world learning opportunities to students eager to understand how the digital world truly works.
Through this collaboration, students will once again gain rare, behind-the-scenes access to a working Silicon Valley data center. Led by subject matter experts, the tour will cover the full operational ecosystem of the data and compute stack including power and cooling. These sessions go far beyond textbooks, offering students a tangible understanding of how digital platforms like TikTok, Netflix, and Instagram are powered in real time.
