Sabey Data Centers has officially launched construction on Building B at its Austin campus, located in Round Rock, Texas. This next phase of development will deliver 54 megawatts (MW) of total power capacity, with 18MW expected to be Ready for Service in Q3 2027.
Austin B is a three-story, liquid-cooling-ready facility engineered to support high-density compute environments, including AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and advanced research workloads. The facility builds on the success of Austin Building A, where 86% of current deployments already use liquid cooling. This new project further positions Sabey to meet the growing needs of enterprise and hyperscale customers looking for flexible, future-ready infrastructure.
“With construction under way on Austin B, we’re strengthening our presence in one of the country’s fastest-growing technology markets,” said Tim Mirick, President of Sabey Data Centers. “This facility is purpose-built for flexibility and efficiency and will offer an ideal home for forward-thinking customers with evolving density needs.”
Preleasing is now open for organizations looking to scale within a proven platform. Austin B is designed to accommodate a range of cooling strategies, including hybrid and liquid-cooled deployments that can exceed 200 kilowatts per rack.
The Austin campus marks a key investment in Sabey’s continued expansion across the U.S., offering sustainable and scalable digital infrastructure in strategic markets.
