LiveOak Fiber has announced reaching a significant milestone in Florida’s panhandle region.

The provider, which serves customers in Florida and Georgia, is celebrating the recent activation of their network in several underserved communities.

According to LiveOak, the new fiber-optic services available to many area residents are up to 100 times faster than traditional broadband services.

LiveOak’s Dec. 10 release listed communities to see recent network activations.

Included on the list were Deer Lake, Destin, Grayton Beach, Miramar Beach, Laguna Beach, Sea Grove, and Sunnyside.

All are located in Florida’s Emerald Coast region.
