For 22 years, David has overseen the company’s sales and marketing team, developed their long-term strategic plan, and worked directly with their hundreds of customers across the United States, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
In anticipation of this year’s INCOMPAS Show, Data Center POST sat down with David to discuss how Equinox’s systems protect and optimize their clients’ revenue, how they keep their strategies topical, and how opportunities like INCOMPAS maximize the company’s growth and success.

Equinox Information Systems, David West (EIS-DW) Answer: As a trusted vendor partner to more than 360 companies in the telecom industry, Equinox Information Systems provides data mediation and usage analytics tools for fraud management, business assurance, and network monitoring. As EVP, I oversee all our sales and marketing efforts as well as work closely with customers and developers to ensure our solutions evolve to meet the dynamic needs of the telecom industry. Our solutions enable carriers of all types and sizes to mitigate the impact of toll-fraud, automate the delivery of usage records to billing systems, and perform sophisticated analysis on usage data.
DCP-KX Q: What are you hoping to achieve at The 2018 INCOMPAS Show?
EIS-DW A: INCOMPAS shows are always a great opportunity for us to see customers that we have worked with for many years and to develop new relationships in the industry. The event facilitates industry visibility, networking, education, and discussion—all of which we value at Equinox Information Systems.
DCP-KX Q: How does your company keep up with the demands of the quickly growing and ever-changing telecommunications industry?
EIS-DW A: We are fortunate to have a large customer base that is representative of the entire telecom market (IXC, ILEC, CLEC, Peering, Wholesale, MSO, , VoIP, etc.). We spend a lot of time talking and strategizing with our customers so that we can precisely adapt our solutions to help resolve the challenges they may face, both today and in the future. If our clients need a specific feature or capability that is not yet included in our current product offerings, they need only ask and we will build it for them.
