Peer 2.0
– Laurie Samper, Technical Writer, iMiller Public Relations
Leading Internet experts will converge this August 4-5 in Palo Alto, California to help educate the next generation of network engineers, Internet architects, and business leaders at the Peer 2.0 Foundation’s two-day open educational conference for next-generation interconnection. Sponsored by big names such as LinkedIn, EdgeConneX, IIX, Avaya, and more, the Peer 2.0 event is designed to give attendees an inside look into the inner-workings of the Internet through the eyes of key industry thought-leaders and veterans.
Examining multiple topics such as transit, peering, connectivity, route servers, evolution of the interconnection landscape and more, the inaugural Peer 2.0 event will provide attendees with a greater understanding of when and how direct interconnection fits into the strategic interests of their companies. The conference agenda will also focus on interconnection ideals, strategies, problems, trends and improvements of Internet interconnection.
As the Internet grows and evolves, current information from industry experts is invaluable to unlocking the answers to the future of peering and interconnection. Joining the conference from an array of content, service and peering providers, speakers have volunteered their time, wisdom and expertise to provide an educational experience for the next generation of Network Engineers, Network Architects, or Managers who want to learn and help grow the community of direct connections at the core of the Internet. Speakers will include representatives from EdgeConneX, Level 3 Communications, Pandora, LinkedIn, GoDaddy, Layer 42, IIX, Hurricane Electric, ARIN, DuPont Fabros Technology, TorIX, and more.
Peer 2.0 will take place in the Theatre of the Oshman Family JCC in Palo Alto, CA.
