Hudson InterXchange (HudsonIX), a leading provider of digital infrastructure in New York City, has announced a significant expansion at its flagship facility at 60 Hudson Street—one of the world’s most connected buildings.
The newly announced 2MW data hall is designed to support high-density IT workloads, with part of the space purpose-built to deliver up to 40kW per cabinet. This expansion meets growing demand for compute-intensive environments—particularly those driven by AI and machine learning applications.
“Our goal has always been to anticipate and respond to the needs of our customers,” said Arthur Valhuerdi, Chief Technology Officer at HudsonIX. “This expansion reflects our commitment to delivering world-class, high-performance infrastructure—offering scalable configurations that support everything from a single cabinet to custom cages, in one of New York City’s most connected buildings.”
Integrated into HudsonIX’s 6th floor data center, the new space will offer:
- Flexible deployments: single cabinets, multi-cabinet pods, or bespoke cages
- Direct access to over 300 networks and service providers
- Enhanced resiliency and efficiency, with direct utility feeds from Con Edison
- Nearly 173,000 square feet of space across multiple floors
- A total available power capacity of 15MW
This strategic growth solidifies HudsonIX’s position as a premier destination for enterprises, hyperscalers, and AI-first organizations looking to scale infrastructure in the heart of New York City.
The new data hall will be customer-ready by November 2025.
