Hivelocity has announced the sale of its Chicago and Miami colocation services to Digital Realty, the largest global provider of cloud and carrier-neutral data center platforms. This strategic move strengthens Hivelocity’s commitment to innovation, scalability, and customer success while expanding its collaboration with Digital Realty.

Jeremy Pease, CEO of Hivelocity, stated, “Digital Realty is ideally suited to acquire these assets and is well positioned to drive incremental value to our customers at these locations. We are confident that their expertise, combined with our proven track record in these facilities, will ensure ongoing service excellence.”

Digital Realty’s existing ownership of the facilities and experience in managing global data centers ensures a seamless continuation of services for customers. Hivelocity plans to continue growing its colocation services at core facilities and advancing its U.S. and international hosting capabilities by building on proven success with Digital Realty’s network. The company will keep delivering bare metal, enterprise cloud and virtual server solutions at the Miami and Chicago sites.
