Dominion Energy provides power to most of Northern Virginia’s massive data center market, and its customers have begun to push the utility to transition to renewable energy sources, Dominion Senior Economic Development Market Specialist William McCausland said.
Speaking Thursday at Bisnow’s Data Center Investment Conference and Expo East, held at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, McCausland said data center developers of all sizes are making renewable energy a priority, everywhere from small 100 kilowatt boxes to massive 100 megawatt data centers.
