Data Center POST (DCP) Question: What does participating in PTC’23 mean to your company?
Jodie Lin, Director of the Nomad Futurist Foundation (JL) Answer: PTC’23 will give the Nomad Futurist Foundation the opportunity to connect with talented young professionals and get them excited about the data center industry. There is a huge talent gap at the moment and it is imperative that we help to create and provide educational programs that address the gap.
DCP Q: What products/services/locations/other are you excited to share at the PTC’23 conference?
JL A: The Nomad Futurist Academy! We recently partnered with Chekhub to build tomorrow’s leaders by developing scholarship funds and an education platform for underdeveloped communities worldwide.
DCP Q: As you think about PTC’23, what business goal is most important to you and why?
JL A: To get people excited about the industry and to create more educational content for the Nomad Futurist Academy. Our primary focus is to empower and inspire younger generations through exposure to the underlying technologies that power our digital world and cultivate the next generation of industry leaders.
DCP Q: How can people meet or learn more about you at PTC’23 (or after)?
JL A: During PTC’23, people can meet Nabeel Mahmood and Phil Koblence in person at the event. If you don’t get the chance to meet them at the event, reach out via Linkedin, email, or the Nomad Futurist website to get in touch and learn more.
DCP Q: What else would you like for our readers to know that you haven’t already shared about your company?
JL A: The Nomad Futurist Foundation is a 501 (3) (c) organization founded in 2021 and builds on the mission of the Nomad Futurist Podcast, which seeks to demystify the digital infrastructure industry and inspire younger generations to join the space.
