Communities in New York’s Southern Tier often do not receive the same support from broadband providers as their metropolitan counterparts. Dansville and Warsaw are two nearby towns in which many businesses and residents do not have access to reliable and fast Internet services, which are enjoyed in more populous areas. Empire Access, a regional broadband provider, is bringing its fiber optic Internet services to these towns in the Summer of 2023.

Headquartered in Prattsburgh, New York, Empire Access serves large areas of New York’s Southern Tier and Northern Pennsylvania. This expansion will bring businesses, residents, and local government organizations rapid Internet connectivity capabilities including Wi-Fi, security, streaming services, phone plans, and more. In addition, Empire Access maintains local support teams with 24/7/365 customer service. These support teams are hired locally, as Empire Access maintains deep roots in the communities they join.

With Empire Access, Dansville and Warsaw will receive access to the fastest rated Internet in the Northeast by PC Mag. In addition to rapid connectivity, Empire Access has vowed to maintain affordable pricing. According to Jim Baase, CEO at Empire Access, “We understand your needs for affordable Internet access, so we ensure that customers never see a price hike or promotion-ending cost increases.”

Empire Access has also recently announced expansions elsewhere in their service areas, such as Horseheads and Southport, New York.
