Bluebird Network, a communications infrastructure provider and operator of two data centers and over 11,000 miles of carrier-grade fiber network, has welcomed their new Chief Development Officer, John Nolan, to the company. Beginning April 17th, Nolan will lead all aspects of corporate development which includes M&A, business development, corporate strategy and innovation.

With a proven track record of exceptional results in various areas such as sales, vendor management, business development, marketing, and finance, Nolan brings a wealth of expertise to the table. He has accumulated a deep understanding of the industry and has held key leadership roles, including his most recent position as Vice President of Global Connections and Alliance Management. 

During his tenure, Nolan spearheaded a remarkable transformation of AT&T’s multi-billion dollar cost structure for data, voice, and international roaming with carriers in the US and around the world. His strategic approach not only improved supplier performance but also increased automation, supporting AT&T’s wireless and wireline business objectives.

Nolan’s impressive qualifications include a Finance degree from the esteemed University of Missouri – Columbia, as well as an MBA from Saint Louis University. But his impact goes beyond academia. Nolan has been an active participant in shaping the industry landscape and giving back to the community.

As Vice-Chairman of the Board for Capacity Media’s Global Leaders Forum and a member of the MEF Board of Directors, Nolan has been instrumental in driving industry-wide collaboration on critical issues. His strategic vision and leadership have helped shape the future of the telecommunications industry.
