On August 6, 2025, more than 500 telecom, broadband, and technology professionals from across the country gathered in Iowa for a day that blended industry networking, friendly competition, and meaningful community impact at the 36th Annual Aureon Golf Classic. The event raised $19,000 in support of ChildServe, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children with special healthcare needs live a great life.
From a Simple Gathering to a Celebrated Tradition
What began in 1989 as “Carrier Appreciation Day” has grown into one of Iowa’s most anticipated industry events. Each year, the Aureon Golf Classic brings together leaders from independent telecommunications companies, broadband providers, and technology organizations to celebrate progress, exchange ideas, and support causes that strengthen Iowa communities.
This year’s event took place across three premier courses: Briarwood Golf Club, Otter Creek Golf Course, and the Tournament Club of Iowa, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie, connection, and shared purpose.
Driving Support for ChildServe’s Mission
The $19,000 raised this year will go directly to ChildServe, advancing its mission to provide specialized care and services for children with special healthcare needs. The funds came through a variety of fundraising activities, reflecting the generosity and commitment of Aureon’s partners, sponsors, and participants.
