Data Center POST recently had the opportunity to talk to Hugo about the maturing B2B telecom market, SpeakIntelligence’s automated business communications online shop solution, and why International Telecoms Week 2018, taking place May 6-9 in Chicago, is so important for his company.
Data Center POST, Kathy Xu (DCP-KX) Question: What impact will changing consumer attitudes have on digital transformation plans within the telecom industry?
SpeakIntelligence, Hugo Roseiro (SpeakIntelligence-HR) Answer: They will have a huge impact. Digital transformation is a must in today’s business market. Disruption will continue and companies unable or unprepared for changes will quickly fall behind. Consumers are more demanding than ever. They want to have everything available online, in real-time and with full control. While the B2C market is already quite mature on this level, there is still much to improve in the B2B market. But when you think about it, businesses are made of people, so why should business telecom customers have any different expectations?
DCP-KX Q: What broad trends do you see in telecoms in the next 12 months?
SpeakIntelligence-HR A: We are purely focused on voice. For voice we see cloud integration, digital transformation, simplification, intelligent apps and analytics all driving change over the coming year.
DCP-KX Q: What are new developments and initiatives that are exciting for your company in 2018?
SpeakIntelligence-HR A: SpeakIntelligence is now able to provide partners with a fully automated online shop with any type of phone number, combined with easy-to-use call routing packages in over 150 countries and 2500 cities. This is a true self-service solution. Our partners’ customers can order, configure and maintain their services online, and are in full control of their communications, simply by adding our customizable widget to their company website.
Our partners get paid a monthly commission of up to 25 percent, and the solution is fully automated for their customers without requiring any of our partners’ company resources. They can start cutting costs and increasing revenue immediately. Integration is easy and there are no setup or monthly costs. Our partners are achieving up to 300 percent return on their online promotion investments.
