Stellanor Datacenters, backed by a fund managed by global investment manager DWS, has announced the acquisition of eight datacenter sites from Redcentric plc, serving approximately 450 clients. The move marks a key milestone in Stellanor’s strategy to establish itself as the leading platform of regional datacenters supporting both enterprise and AI-driven workloads across Northern Europe.
With this acquisition, Stellanor continues its expansion across the UK and Nordics, focused on delivering reliable, energy-efficient, and low-latency infrastructure for enterprises and service providers. The company’s long-term vision is to combine strong regional presence with customer-centric design and sustainability at scale.
“We’re building infrastructure for the future, where data is generated, processed, and protected at the edge,” said Steve Scott, CEO at Stellanor. “Our goal is to set a new benchmark for high-performance, community-conscious datacenters in Northern Europe. Our focus is always on our customers, who will receive the highest standard of service. We look forward to growing our business alongside them and serving their future colocation needs.”
The newly acquired datacenters are located across London, Reading, Cambridge, Woking, Gatwick, Byfleet, and West Yorkshire. Each site is powered by 100% renewable energy and offers robust security and high-density colocation capabilities. This acquisition brings Stellanor’s total UK footprint to ten datacenters, representing 36MW of secured grid capacity and a growing base of enterprise clients.
“The acquisition of RDC by Stellanor represents a transformative step in expanding our UK footprint to ten high-quality, strategically located assets with 36MW of secured grid capacity and a blue-chip customer base,” said Aparna Narain, Partner at DWS. “We see significant long-term value in building resilient, scalable, and sustainable infrastructure that supports the UK’s digital economy.”
Stellanor is building a new generation of regional facilities designed for proximity, performance, sustainability, and accessibility. As enterprise demand for secure, scalable, and locally hosted infrastructure accelerates, these strategically positioned sites will play a central role in meeting the growing need for high-performance colocation and AI inference capacity at the edge.
