DC BLOX, a leading provider of digital infrastructure across the Southeastern United States, has announced an exciting update that underscores the Southeast’s rising profile in global digital connectivity. The company has revealed plans to develop a second major subsea cable landing station (CLS) campus in Palm Coast, Florida. This news signals another major milestone for the Atlanta-based digital infrastructure provider as well as marking a strategic leap for the state of Florida’s digital future.

Located between Jacksonville and Orlando, Palm Coast is set to become a new gateway for international data traffic. DC BLOX’s planned campus will provide a strategic alternative to the more congested cable landing points in the Northeast and South Florida, offering diversity and resilience for global network operators. The facility is expected to support multiple subsea cables, including Google’s newly announced Sol cable to Spain, and will be operational by early 2027.

This campus will complement DC BLOX’s Myrtle Beach, South Carolina CLS, which opened in 202 and has already attracted major hyperscalers. The South Carolina CLS provides geographic diversity among existing cable landings on the Eastern seaboard and facilitates regional connectivity to the rapidly growing Atlanta area as well as Ashburn, Virginia. With the Palm Coast location, DC BLOX has once again solidified itself as a key player in the digital backbone of the Southeastern United States.

Over the past two years, DC BLOX has announced new data center campuses in Georgia, and Alabama South Carolina and completed a critical dark fiber route connecting Myrtle Beach to Atlanta. The company’s approach of pairing state-of-the-art data centers with robust terrestrial and subsea connectivity caters to the needs of hyperscalers, enterprises, and telecom providers seeking low-latency, high-capacity infrastructure in fast-growing markets.

With the broader industry continuing to evolve rapidly, strategic location selection has become crucial in preventing many of the challenges brought on by surging data traffic and the proliferation of AI and cloud services. With its Palm Coast campus in the works, DC BLOX has positioned itself at the crossroads of global data flows and regional economic growth. As the Southeast cements its status as a hub for digital infrastructure, DC BLOX’s investments promise to bring new opportunities for innovation, business, and community development.
