Hivelocity has announced the appointment of Matt Schatz as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to accelerating worldwide revenue growth and deepening its customer partnerships during a pivotal period of expansion. Bringing more than two decades of experience to Hivelocity, Schatz has built and led high-performing go-to-market teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC. His impressive resume includes instrumental roles at Rackspace, where he helped scale the company through its IPO, and at Bazaarvoice, where he was part of the executive team guiding another successful public offering. Schatz also spent six years at WP Engine, driving international expansion and revenue gains, and served as Chief Revenue Officer at Cosential, steering the company through significant growth and eventual acquisition.

Jeremy Pease, CEO at Hivelocity, has emphasized the expertise Schatz brings to the team: “Matt’s passion for building world-class teams and his deep understanding of the technology landscape make him the ideal leader to accelerate our growth and deliver even greater value to our customers. His vision and energy will be key as we continue to expand our global footprint and innovate in the edge computing space”.

In his new role, Schatz looks forward to furthering the company’s mission: “I am excited to join Hivelocity at such a pivotal time in the company’s journey. The team’s commitment to innovation and customer success is truly inspiring. I look forward to working alongside Jeremy and the entire organization to drive new opportunities, foster strong partnerships, and help our customers achieve their digital transformation goals.”

With operations in over 50 international locations across six continents, Hivelocity has established a strong foundation built on a world-class network, 24/7 U.S.-based customer service, and enterprise-grade security. Schatz’s background in scaling technology companies and navigating complex global markets positions Hivelocity to continue to capitalize on emerging opportunities in cloud, edge computing, and hybrid IT environments. As enterprises increasingly seek agile, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions, Schatz’s leadership will likely play a crucial role in shaping the company’s next chapter of growth.
