LiveOak Fiber, a Georgia-based internet service provider, has announced a significant milestone in its mission to bridge the digital divide in the Southeast US. The company is expanding and rolling out activation of its high-speed fiber-optic network in Savannah and Chatham County, Georgia.

By the end of the month, LiveOak Fiber will begin connecting customers and taking service orders for 1,200 homes and businesses in the Bacon Park and Sandfly areas, with plans to expand coverage to 7,200 locations by the end of 2024.
