Bluebird Network, LLC, a provider of fiber transport and internet services and owner of the Bluebird Network underground data center in Springfield, MO, recently announced that it has welcomed Carla Cooper to the team as the new Chief Financial Officer. Within this role, Cooper will aid in the strategic direction of the company, overseeing all aspects of finance.
Previously serving as the Vice President of Finance/CFO and Director of Regulatory Accounting for Fidelity Communications Co., Cooper is a versatile leader bringing three decades of experience to the Bluebird team. In her previous position, she provided oversight for finance and revenue planning and was a member of a dynamic team delivering strategic direction to Fidelity. Now, she will support the vision, values and culture of success at Bluebird Network.
Cooper received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Missouri – St. Louis, and she holds a current CPA license in the State of Missouri. Additionally, she is a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs and the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), and she also serves on the Board of Directors of EMPAQ Group Inc. and the Sullivan Educational Foundation.
