Ray Zwiefelhofer, president of World Software Corporation (www.worldox.com), says:

There is nothing more exciting than continually being able to extend the capabilities and flexibility of a document management system, since electronic documents and email represent the work product of so many companies and professional service firms. The objective of any DMS should be to provide the most efficient, reliable, and convenient means of accessing data. It has also become important for DMS technology to address firms’ employees demand for more mobile productivity options and increasing remote access requirements.

With faster and more flexible architecture as our main focus this past year, we have developed Worldox GX3 Professional, which launches at LegalTech NY ’12, as well as GX3 Enterprise and GX3 Cloud, which will be released later this year. With our new patent pending deployment architecture, we have managed to find a way to fully enhance GX3 and offer faster, more flexible and expanded delivery of the technology.

Worldox GX3 Professional, an upgrade to the traditional client/server version of the product, features an all new redesigned user interface with toolbar enhancements, new Favorite Matters zone, the latest Oracle Viewer technology and updated ISYS search engine. The most important and exciting upgrades to the GX3 Professional are the improved speed and integration capacities. The optimized architecture delivers data to users’ screens up to 60% faster, and better Microsoft server integration means quicker and easier maintenance and setup. Other integration capacities of GX3 Professional include more third-party integrations and tighter MS Active Directory integration.

The upcoming releases of Worldox GX3 Enterprise and GX3 Cloud platforms are ideal for larger firms with multiple locations. The addition of these two platforms increases user flexibility and expands delivery options by enabling remote access. GX3 Enterprise is designed to break down the barriers of remote connectivity for firms of all sizes by storing data in a client’s facility behind the firm’s own firewall; this allows for fast and efficient communication for remote offices and workers. GX3 Cloud is also sure to provide increased user efficiency by delivering Worldox GX3 in a SaaS model hosted in a remote data center.

The new GX3 line of DMS platform options will effectively address demands for a variety of mobile productivity options and remote access requirements. Tackling the growing needs of our users with three separate platforms, has allowed us to offer unprecedented flexibility and will enable law firms to work how they want, when they want.
